Davor Marković

He began his jiu-jitsu journey in 2005, training in traditional Japanese jiu-jitsu, where he competed in national and international competitions. He was a member of the Montenegrin jiu-jitsu national team from 2006 to 2008. Since 2008, he has been practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, specifically the Newaza style, which focuses on ground fighting. He holds the rank of black belt, second degree, awarded by the legend of the jiu-jitsu sport, coach Adilson Jorge de Lima – Bitta. He is the official representative of his school in Montenegro, Clube de Jiu Jitsu Pit Bull – Pit Bull Jiu Jitsu Montenegro.

He always demonstrates commitment and passion.

He was an assistant coach for the Jiu-Jitsu team at the Police Academy in Abu Dhabi. He gained his professional training in this field in Abu Dhabi while working for the world's largest Jiu-Jitsu company, PALMS SPORTS LLC. He was the head coach for the children's Jiu-Jitsu team at the AL Jazira club in Abu Dhabi, with which he won medals at local competitions in Abu Dhabi. His greatest achievement is winning the gold medal at the European Championship in Zagreb in November 2023 in the under 85-kilogram category.
